Dealer purchases

Most dealers offer warranties with their used cars, unfortunately most are not worth the paper they are written on.

We do not sell our warranties to dealers; our cover has been specifically designed with the consumer in mind.

We do however recommend dealers that use the Dealer Warranty Direct.

Things to look out for in a dealer warranty:

  • What is the claims limit?
  • Does it have a wear and tear exclusion?
  • Do they cover failure caused by non insured parts ?
  • Can I choose where to take my car for repairs?
  • What are the servicing requirements (most are six months / 6,000 miles)?
  • Does it really cover my car (Aircon, ABS, Turbo, ECU, Elec Windows etc..)?

Why not ask how much the car is without the warranty - and then buy a warranty from us - and you'll save £££'s straight away.

European new car imports

European imports can get up to FIVE years extended warranty protection with Warranty Direct.

These cars mainly come with a one or two year manufacturer's warranty / guarantee and the usual paint and bodywork warranties.

You can extend this cover with our LuxuryCare cover, which will provide you with an additional 1/2/3 years on top of the manufacturer's first or second year. Remember that you can transfer your Warranty Direct warranty to your next car.

It's a win-win situation if you are considering buying an import. Not only will you invariably save over the traditional UK franchised dealer's car price, but you can top up the manufacturer's EU 2 year warranty with a further three years LuxuryCare protection.

Our LuxuryCare policy will cover all mechanical and electrical parts up to the value of your car. You can take your car to a franchised dealer for repairs or any other VAT registered garage of your choice.

For those who don't need the warranty to begin immediately, we offer a "Hold The Price" scheme whereby on receipt of a small deposit*, we will issue the policy but not request the balance until the agreed inception of cover date.

Japanese used and new car imports
